Jerry AK Yan
Music Lessons with a Berklee-Trained Multi-Instrumentalist
With a strong foundation in classical piano and film composition, combined with influences from jazz, blues, rock, and metal, Jerry brings a versatile and well-rounded approach to music education. A graduate of Berklee College of Music (Audio Production, 2009), he blends formal training with real-world performance experience to create engaging and personalized lessons.
Real-World Performance & Industry Experience
After graduating, Jerry toured the East Coast indie rock scene throughout the late 2000s and 2010s, gaining valuable live performance experience across diverse venues and audiences. He later relocated to California in 2014, where he continues to stay active in the local music scene.
Following a decade working in banking, Jerry returned to his passion for music and now performs regularly as a session keyboardist, guitarist, and bassist throughout Bay Area communities and festivals.
