We offer personalized Piano Lessons, Guitar Lessons and Voice Lessons in the comfort of your home, with instructors carefully selected from Our Music Teachers.
Boise is growing fast but has kept what made people move here: the Greenbelt, the foothills, Hyde Park, the farmers market and a downtown that still feels human-sized.
Boise Piano Lessons
Our Boise piano teachers are trained musicians who take instruction seriously. They do not arrive with a fixed program and expect every student to conform to it. Every lesson is shaped around the individual, their pace, their taste and where they actually want to go.
Children here grow up with mountains at the edge of the city and a community that values creative development. Learning at home removes the self-consciousness that can slow progress in unfamiliar studios.
Adult learners come to us from all kinds of starting points. Some played as children and want the music back. Others have been meaning to start for years. Some are Boise State faculty or healthcare professionals who want something creative that has nothing to do with a screen. We build lessons around your actual schedule.
Boise Guitar Lessons
Boise has a guitar culture rooted in folk and Americana, the kind of music that sounds right against the foothills. Our teachers bring expertise across acoustic, electric and classical styles, building technique that transfers across genres.
We start younger students as young as 6, with methods that build genuine skill while keeping lessons something kids look forward to.
Boise Voice Lessons
Boise has a long tradition of singers, songwriters, performers, and musicians who use their voices as instruments of expression. Our voice teachers bring that same spirit into every lesson, helping students develop breath control, pitch, tone, range, and confidence without losing what makes their voice uniquely theirs. Rather than trying to make every singer sound the same, our instructors build lessons around the music each student actually loves to sing.
For children, voice lessons can be a powerful way to build confidence as well as musical ability. Our Boise voice teachers use age-appropriate exercises and songs to help young singers develop healthy technique while keeping lessons playful and encouraging. Because lessons happen in the student’s home, children can learn in a familiar environment where they feel comfortable experimenting with their voice and finding their own sound. Read More
Boise Music Lesson FAQs
How much do lessons cost?
Lessons are $75 per week, with a half-price trial lesson for new students. Weekly lessons provide the consistency that helps students build confidence, develop strong musical skills, and make steady progress over time.
What happens if we need to reschedule?
We understand that life gets busy. If you let us know at least 24 hours in advance, we’ll happily reschedule your lesson at no additional charge. Our goal is to make music lessons fit your family’s schedule whenever possible.
Do I need to own an instrument before starting?
Having an instrument at home is the best way to get the most out of lessons, but if you’re still deciding what to buy, we’re happy to help. We can recommend trusted local music stores, rental options, and the right instrument based on your student’s age, goals, and budget.

How are teachers matched?
We don’t simply assign the next available teacher. Every family is personally matched based on the student’s age, musical interests, personality, learning style, experience level, scheduling needs, location, and the teacher’s strengths and teaching style. Our goal is to create a relationship where students feel comfortable, stay motivated, and continue learning for years.
Can siblings take lessons?
Absolutely! Many families schedule siblings back-to-back on the same day for added convenience. For younger siblings, it’s often a very cost-effective option to share a one-hour lesson, allowing each child to receive individual attention while also learning together during portions of the lesson. This works especially well for beginners close in age.
